What is a Fill-in?

This is a technique of continuously renewing existing gel without the use of acetone (a solution that is usually used to remove gel).
This process begins by using a dremel to carefully remove the existing design leaving only one layer of the base gel. With the newly grown in part of the nail at the base, attention is given to fully prep this area for a gel fill to ensure that the gel stays on securely.
This specific method pioneered in Japan, prevents any further damage to your nail and skin that you would normally do at other salons by fully removing gel off with acetone.  Overtime, this can truly weaken and dry your nails - a common reason why gel does not stay on well. The foundation of proper fill-ins lies in the nail care and prep steps.  Using this fill-in technique allows for renewal of gel nails without use of acetone - a truly unique method intended to keep clients' nails healthy.

フィルインジェルネイルとは...
前回装着したジェルネイルを、２回目以降はアセトン（オフ剤）を使用せず「継続してジェルのお直しを行う」技術です。専用のマシーンを使って、前回に装着したデザインだけを削り、ベースジェルの１層だけを残す方法です。伸びた自爪部分だけ２回目のジェルがしっかりと定着するように下処理をしますので、前回のジェルを乗せた爪上は全く傷つきません。通常アセトンを使用し、オフする方法が主流ですが、オフ剤を使用し爪に浸すとゆうやり方を継続することで、爪、皮膚へ負担がかかり、乾燥をし始め、ジェルの持ちも悪くなります。新規のお客様のフィルインジェルは、ジェル装着前の「ネイルケアと下処理」もしっかり行うことでオフ無しで何度でもお直しできるよう、お客様の爪の健康を第一に考えたこちらのフィルインジェルを推薦しています。

Why Fill-In Gel?

Fill-in is a much less chemically intrusive technique.  While when using regular soak-off gel, you need to remove it every time using acetone which completely damages the nail - weakening the strength of the nail over time. To sum up the benefits:

Unfortunately, our home studio is not setup for pedicures.
